i've also been trying to teach her more about the camera... again, i'm a HORRIBLE teacher. she's actually doing amazingly well. she really does have the eye. she just needs to properly work the camera so she can share what she sees.

on another note... i was waiting for a friend to come home so we can marinade some meats for this weekends' trip (this was tuesday). anywho, i ended up waiting for like over 30minutes because he got stuck in a meeting with a boss he claims to be "retardedly-slow". uhm, i'm paraphrasing here of course. i don't actually know what he said cause i was tired from a full day of work and just wanted to prep the meats and go home.
sitting at night in a car and playing with a camera don't look right at all and i got a couple of "what the hell is he doing?" stares from a couple of people walking by. of course, i'm not doing anything illegal so i continue. i've been wanting to play with super slow shutter speeds for a while now and what a better time to play while your waiting in a car for HELLA long? below are some shots that i was able to make. "hello".

Ed,
You are a wonderful photographer. I'm going to check back in to be further inspired by your "stuff."
I'm glad I bumped into your blog. How did you 'do' that light painting?
