stinky "fitted" evan

monica and i went over her moms the other day to eat after a consultation meeting with a potential bride. evan was there to play with (yeah, it's sad really... we consider him as a toy) after eating. i then decided to take out the camera to see if i can catch something interesting. as you all know... kids grow up so fast and what other way to preserve time? yup! you guessed it. photos!

so while i was snapping away, normarie decided this would be a good time to dress him up with a jordan fit. i can't believe this! you know, when i was young... i had nothing. i remember playing with spiders as toys. i had hand me down slippers! i'm talking about slippers that almost have a hole in the sole. you can feel every single pebble as you walk! anyways... i'm going off on a tangent here, but kids now-a-days have SO much stuff. NEW STUFF! = \

i guess i', just jealous. well, at least (for now) i don't have to change DIRTY NASTY SMELLING diapers. = )

my "other" job = )

so lately i've been super swamped at work. work? yeah... i said work. i just don't do photography like some have assumed. photography is my weekend warrior stuff. plus it's a great creative outlet. i design packaging for a manufacturing company located in livermore, ca. i do a 100 mile commute each day. sometimes it's rough, but i don't mind most of the time.

below are only a few of what i've designed that are now out in stores like target, walgreens and walmart. so, if you see them... you can say "hey! i know who designed those!" = ) the "animated nightlights" will be out right before the x-mas season. cool, huh?

monica and i recently bought artwork that will be placed somewhere in the office/loft. not really sure where cause i don't even have a couch nor coffee table yet... just some storage bins that needs to be placed in the garage and a whole bunch of wires everywhere. eeek. my pet peeve... loose wires.

but here is the artwork appropriate for the type of photography i'm in to "strobist" style. yea!

my house lately has been a study hall. mary is studying something about skulls and monica has been working hard on finishing up her paper. while they study, i felt like i needed to study too! interactive style. so i busted out my camera and took some shots i would normally wouldn't take.

yet again, another awesome ptsp and friends trip. gosh, i love these folks, especially those who came up from socal all excited for the powder, only to find slush. =( but no bother, good times were still had, as always!
